  • My name is Betsy Knodel. I am a teacher at Menno Public School District #33-2 in Menno, South Dakota. I teach 6 - 8 grade reading classes, 6 and 10 grade English/Language Arts classes, Creative Communications, Play Productions, and Contemporary Novels for Menno Public this year. I will also offer interventions in reading during the first semester for grades 6 - 8.  I am also the adviser to the NHS, high school and junior high oral interp, and the director of the one act play.

  • I love to read, write, scrapbook, quilt, and spend time with my family. I am married and have one child.

  • I am a proud graduate of Concordia College - St. Paul (now known as Concordia University - St. Paul).

  • I am a life long learner. I enjoy learning about new things and challenging my students to do the same. This summer, I attended the MTSS Conference in Chamberlain.

  • I believe that every child has a right to learn. I encourage my students to do their best and to come in for additional help if needed. If you ever need to contact me, please don't hesitate to call, email, or write to me.
