  • My name is Betsy Knodel. I am a teacher at Menno Public School District #33-2 in Menno, South Dakota. I teach 5 - 8 grade English classes, 5th grade Speech for Menno Public this year.   I am also the high school and junior high oral interp coach as well as the director of the one act play.

  • I love to read, write, scrapbook, quilt, and spend time with my family. I am married and have one adult child.

  • I am a proud graduate of Concordia College - St. Paul (now known as Concordia University - St. Paul).

  • I am a life long learner. I enjoy learning about new things and challenging my students to do the same. This summer, I took five classes.  I learned about Cyber Security, communicating with students and parents, grading, and teaching difficult history.

  • I believe that every child has a right to learn. I encourage my students to do their best and to come in for additional help if needed. If you ever need to contact me, please don't hesitate to call, email, or write to me.
